This is sweet and simple early 1930s dress that comes alive on the body. The upper bodice is styled as a yoke that curves down to form the armholes. Ease for the bust is created with four small dart/pleats from the waist. plus five pintucks that radiate from the bottom of the scooped neck yoke. The six gore skirt hugs the body until a bit above the knee, where there are a pair of shallow pleats in front and in back.
SIZE: No size label. The bust was taken in by a previous owner - original seams are still present. Removing the alteration would restore 1 to 1.5" there.
